Jacqui has ben at the forefront of protecting women, she sponsored legislation that led to the creation of the Illinois Human Trafficking Task Force, which focuses on the disparities in investigations of missing Black women and girls in the state. She also created the Illinois Council for Women and Girls and has consistently voted to protect the reproductive rights of women.
